Ocular Surface Disease
Ocular surface disease indicates damage to the surface layers of the eye, namely the cornea and conjunctiva. “dry eye syndrome” and “blepharitis” are most common disease under this.
SYMPTOMS
Dry eye is a condition in which a person doesn’t have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. The most common symptoms of dry eye syndrome are
- Redness
- stinging, scratching, or burning sensations.
- Light Sensitivity.
- Watery eyes.
- Stringy mucus near the eye
- Blurry Vision.
